YMCA continues with next step of re-opening

(ALBANY, GA) – The Albany Area YMCA is moving on to the next step of their re-opening.

The organization re-opened its doors last week to offer child care as well as set classes, Now The Y is offering its fitness services back to the general public.

Chief Operating Officer, Andre London says that with everything happening in Southwest Georgia over the pandemic, re-opening the facility’s gyms for people has been a good distraction.

London tells us, “So those who came the last couple of days, it’s meaning the world to them. Those who have been in the sickest areas, this gives them the chance to come back in and start their exercise program again. So they’re incredibly pleased that we’re recovering, they’re pleased with the steps we’re taking.”
