Wetherald Behavioral Academy hosts 4th Annual “Swinging Beyond the Spectrum” benefit golf tournament returns to Doublegate Country Club on March 6
ALBANY, Ga. – Golfers are invited to tee up for a meaningful cause next month as Wetherald Behavioral Academy hosts its 4th Annual “Swinging Beyond the Spectrum” golf tournament on Friday, March 6, at Doublegate Country Club.
The day begins with golfer registration and lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon for the three-man scramble tournament. After a full afternoon on the course, participants will enjoy an evening celebration featuring music, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and live entertainment.
Team spots are limited, and organizers encourage early registration. The registration deadline is March 1.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit Wetherald Behavioral Academy, a private school in Albany serving children with autism and related disabilities. The academy provides structured, research-based instruction rooted in applied behavior analysis, helping students reach their full educational potential while building confidence and life skills. Funds raised through the event also help expand scholarship opportunities for students in the community.
In addition to team registration, a variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, including hole sponsors, beverage cart sponsors, and corporate-level partnerships. An evening event ticket option is also available for those who would like to attend the post-tournament festivities.
