(ALBANY, GA)- Albany Ward 4 Commissioner, Chad Warbington, as well as members of law enforcement fielded concerns from residents about the the need for a neighborhood watch.

Chief Michael Persley spoke about how a neighborhood watch can help as they consistently recruit for the Albany Police Department.

The commissioner spoke about how important it is for the community to have a dialogue with city officials.

“I think it’s important to give neighborhoods a chance to have access to their commissioner, to be able to express their concerns and ask questions, and even for the police here. We had a Q&A where citizens could ask their questions, and get their issues dealt with,” says Commissioner Warbington.
Warbington tells us that if anyone is interested in joining, they can reach out to him or the Albany Police Department.
