Valdosta sporting goods store helps families buy equipment for children at affordable cost

This new location is owned by husband-and-wife duo, Edward and Georgia Zimmermann. Deciding they needed a change in their careers, the Zimmermanns sold their four-generation nursing home business in Florida and moved to Valdosta, a community which they share deep-rooted summer connections.

Driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, Georgia and Edward recognized that Valdosta was the ideal location to introduce Play It Again Sports. Throughout their journey to open their new business in Valdosta, the couple has been encouraged by the unwavering support they have received from the local community.

Georgia and Edward are eager to reciprocate the kindness by bringing a family-owned and operated sporting goods business to the area. As Edward is a retired Airforce Master Sergeant and firefighter, Play It Again Sports Valdosta proudly extends its gratitude to military personnel and first responders.
