United Way of SWGA handing out first wave of relief fund

(ALBANY, GA) – The United Way of Southwest Georgia is beginning to give out the first wave of relief funding.

As part of their COVID-19 Relief Fund, the organization is giving out more than $70,000 to partner organizations to help those impacted by the pandemic.

United Way President, Shaunae Motley says that anyone who is in need for help from the relief fund can reach out to partner organizations in Dougherty, Terrel, Randolph and Mitchell counties to start or through United Way’s 211.
