Triggerman wanted in Albany domestic double shooting

Albany man accused in shooting girlfriend and her mother in front of victim's teen daughter

ALBANY, GA – Albany Police are on the lookout for 32 year old Cedric Thomas, after a domestic argument turned into a shooting, sending two people to the hospital for gunshot wounds.

Thomas faces 2 counts of aggravated assault as well as one count of cruelty to children (third degree).

Officers say Thomas concluded an ongoing argument with his girlfriend Sunday night by shooting her in the head.

Afterward, Thomas allegedly shot his girlfriend’s mother in the arm, all witnessed by his girlfriend’s 13 year old daughter who was uninjured.

Neither of the gunshots were considered life-threatening.
