Today’s Weather Authority Forecast: June 15, 2022

Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms again today.

Main threats include gusty to damaging winds, small hail, torrential downpours that could lead to localized flooding of poor drainage areas, and dangerous lightning.


Heat Advisory is in effect from Noon-8 pm with peak heat indices around 107-112.

An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for Crisp, Dodge, Dooly, Pulaski, Wilcox, & Telfair counties from 11 am-8 pm with peak heat indices around 110-115.


The dangerous heat holds all the way to Juneteenth & Father’s Day weekend.


It’s important to know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke as temperatures reach dangerous levels.

The heat will be dangerous to those without proper cooling & hydration. Be safe!
