Scattered showers or thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures top the mid 90s. Heat Index near 103.
Better rain chances this weekend, especially for the second half. Temperatures not far from average high of 93.
Wetter weather holds into next week. Temperatures will be near to slightly below average.
No tropical development is expected the next 5-7 days.
CSU and NOAA released their August update to the hurricane season outlooks.
Both still expect an above-average season.
While tropical activity has been relatively quiet we still have over half of the season left to go. Don’t let your guard down!
