Tifton Saddle Club to host annual Easter Egg Bash April 4

TIFTON, Ga. – A unique Easter celebration combining equestrian competition and holiday fun is set to return to Tifton this weekend. The Tift County Saddle Club will host its annual Easter Egg Bash on Saturday, April 4 at the Saddle Club grounds on Eldorado Road.

The event will feature a full slate of riding competitions, including poles, arena races, and cloverleaf events, with divisions for youth riders, ponies, and open competitors. Organizers say added prize money will be up for grabs, including $500 added to the cloverleaf competition and an additional $100 added to the poles and arena race events if at least 25 riders participate.

Exhibitions are scheduled to begin at noon, giving riders a chance to warm up before official events get underway. Poles competition will start at 1:30 p.m.

Participants and attendees should note the following fees:

  • Grounds fee: $5
  • Exhibitions: $5 per run or $20 for unlimited exhibitions
  • Pony events: $10 per event
  • Open poles and arena race: $20 each
  • Open cloverleaf: $30
  • Youth cloverleaf: $15

In addition to the competitions, concessions will be available on site, and families are encouraged to bring Easter baskets for a holiday-themed egg hunt during the event.
