Tift deputies request GBI autopsy for deceased woman

Officers found 43 year old Jessica Jacobs Friday night unresponsive

TIFTON, GA – The Tift County Sheriff’s Office is calling upon the GBI in their investigation into the death of a woman found Friday night.

Deputies say they received a call to 26 Blane Court and found the woman unresponsive.

Monday afternoon, Tift Sheriff’s Public Information Officer David Haire identified the deceased woman as 43 year old Jessica Jacobs.

Her body is being autopsied at the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur to determine a cause of death.
