Thomasville History Center to host “Thomas County 101” Lunch & Learn March 3
THOMASVILLE, Ga. – History enthusiasts can enjoy a free lunchtime program tomorrow at the Thomasville History Center. As part of its 2026 Bicentennial Lunch & Learn series, the Center is presenting Thomas County 101: What Every Citizen Ought to Know, a talk designed to give residents an engaging overview of Thomas County’s history.
The program begins at noon on Tuesday, March 3 at the History Center, 725 North Dawson Street. Ephraim Rotter, Curator of Collections, will highlight the key events, themes, and stories every resident should know. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch, and light refreshments will be provided.
This event is free and open to the public and is part of a collaborative bicentennial series presented by the Thomasville History Center, Jack Hadley Black History Museum, and Pebble Hill Plantation.
Looking ahead, the next Lunch & Learn will be Tuesday, April 7, when Loris Curtis, Curator of Pebble Hill Plantation, presents Pebble Hill Plantation: A 200-Year Legacy.
