The Institute for Integrative Precision Agriculture to host First Friday session March 6 in Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. – The University of Georgia’s Tifton campus is inviting the community to a special educational session this Friday, March 6, as part of its ongoing First Friday series.

Dr. George Vellidis, Director of the Institute for Integrative Precision Agriculture, will explore how data-driven tools (including sensors, drones, and advanced analytics) are shaping the future of farming.

The session will also cover ways for students, researchers, and community partners to get involved in agricultural innovation and real-world research projects.

The talk runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Nespal Seminar Room at the UGA-Tifton campus, 2356 Rainwater Road. Refreshments will be provided, and no registration is required.
