Teen arrested in Westover drag racing death

17 year old Jaden Robinson, a passenger in one of the two speeding vehicles, perished in a fiery crash

ALBANY, GA- Albany Police say a second teenager has been arrested and charged in the July 19th fatal accident along Westover Boulevard that claimed the life of a local 17 year old.

17 year old Jabari Tyree Williams was booked into the Dougherty County Jail around 2 am this morning on a single count of Homicide by vehicle, reckless driving and drag racing.

Albany Police Public Information Officer Phyllis Whitley-Banks says the 16 year old driver who survived the crash was arrested and charged earlier this week on the same charges filed against Williams.

The deceased, 17 year old Jaden Robinson was reportedly the occupant of the first vehicle, which lost control and came to a fiery crash in the Westover median. Robinson was declared dead at the scene.
