Take a Walk Through History in Valdosta Sunday
VALDOSTA, Ga. – What could be more fitting on the Day of the Dead, than to go on a guided walking tour of historic Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta? On Sunday, November 1st, the public is invited to explore the people, places, and stories preserved within one of Valdosta’s most historic landmarks.
Historian Phillip Williams will lead visitors through the cemetery, sharing its development and history while highlighting notable sites and stories connected to Valdosta’s past.
This event is free, and parking is available near the cemetery office in the center of the cemetery. The tour will begin from the front entrance.
