Sumter Co. Sheriff’s Office asking for public’s help locating missing 14-year-old

AMERICUS, Ga. – The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old.

Authorities say Kaylee Thomas was last seen around 10 p.m. on February 20, 2026, at her home on Three Bridges Road in Americus.

Anyone who has seen her or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact Investigator Ellen Anderson with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office at 229-924-4094, extension 241.
