Stolen purses lead to drug arrests
Four snared for cocaine and MDMA possession after purses swiped from hospital

CORDELE, GA – Crisp County deputies say five people are arrested and jailed after an investigation into pilfered purses at Crisp Regional Hospital leads to additional drug related arrests.
Crisp County Public Information Officer Haley Little says deputies initially began investigating a string of purse thefts at the hospital that led them to their initial suspect, identified as 22 year old William Higdon.
Higdon faces charges of felony theft and 7 counts of credit card fraud.
While deputies executed a search warrant on Higdon’s residence on Highway 257, they allegedly found cocaine and MDMA.
Four suspects inside the home were charged with possessing a schedule two drug.
Those arrested are identified as 41 year old Thomas Willard, 29 year old Kiley Willard, 28 year old Mark Newell and 23 year old Juliette Craft.
At last report, all were being held in the Crisp County Detention Center.
