State Senator encourages early voting in runoff election
(ALBANY, GA) – With just over a week left for early voting, one local politician is encouraging people in her district to get out and cast their ballots.
State Senator Freddie Powell Sims delivered a statement downtown early Wednesday afternoon imploring early voters to get out and cast their ballots in the U.S. Senate Runoff Election.
Senator Sims wants to remind those who are on the fence about voting in the runoff election that now isn’t the time to believe that their votes don’t matter.
“…But don’t sit home. This is so critical. This is just as crucial and critical as the presidential election. You cannot just stay home,” says Sims.
Early voting ends on December 31st.
