South Georgia Technical College’s Jemiah Gregory earns GCAA Player of the Week honors

The freshmen earned this honor after her performance last week, where she averaged 20.5 points and eight rebounds in two games.

AMERICUS, GA – On Monday, South Georgia Technical College’s freshman guard, Jemiah Gregory, was announced as the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week for January 5-11.

“I’m just proud of everyone,” Gregory said. “Even though I got Player of the Week, I can’t do it without my team.”

The freshmen earned this honor after her performance last week, where she averaged 20.5 points and eight rebounds in two games.

“We push each other,” Gregory said. “We believe in ourselves, our programs, each other. That’s what it takes. … I’m a team captain of the team. … We push each other, but I really push my teammates every single day. I want to be great and I want them to want to be great.”
