ALBANY, Ga. – For the past 20 years the sheriff’s office would take 20-25 kids out for lunch followed by a mini-shopping spree where the kids would get to spend over $100 on toys. But to encourage social distancing and avoid spreading the virus, kids were instead asked to make a wish list and the gifts were distributed drive-thru style.
