The SGMP Community Festival Races into Adel Saturday Evening

ADEL, Ga. – The SGMP Community Festival is almost here! Roll on up to “The Planet’s Fastest Racetrack” for an evening of family fun, community, and drag racing this Saturday evening from 4:00 until 10:00 p.m.

Admission is only $20 per carload and only $30 to Race Your Own Vehicle. It’s your chance to open ‘er up on an NHRA sanctioned drag strip! Bring the family, invite your friends, and help celebrate our community at South Georgia Motorsports Park!

• Daily Driver Shootout
– must have proof of registration/insurance
– must be driven to staging lanes and pits
–  open comp format
– 30 tech card 100% payout, track pays $250 on top

• High School Challenge
– heads up format
– must provide current high school ID
– must have parent/guardian for minors to sign waiver and tech card
– heads up format – no motorcycles
– $30 tech card 100 % payback, track pays `$250 on top

• Women’s Shootout
– female driven door car
– open comp format
– two qualifying passes (time permitting)
– $30 tech card 100%payback, track pays $`250 on top

• Wheelie & Burnout Competition
– extra $50 entry for each with $500 guaranteed for both

• Test N Tune
– $30 tech card

** All racing participants must be teched prior to race. *No loose items in car/truck, must empty truck beds before racing. *Must wear long pants and helmet (if you have one).
