Sewer main repair to begin in Moultrie

MOULTRIE, GA – The City of Moultrie announced in a Facebook posting that repairs to the sewer main will begin and last approximately 30 days. They noted that the extreme rains of 2021 had exposed a vulnerable spot in the city sewer system from 2nd to 3rd Street SE around 15th Avenue.

All materials have arrived on site, and preliminary work began last week. Popco, Inc., was selected to complete the sewer main repair. Upon completion of that project, a street repair project will begin.
