CORDELE, GA – Tuesday night saw a sweep on the soccer pitch as Crisp County’s boys and girls defeated Dublin by a combined score 10-1.

It was the Blakely Young show in the Lady Cougars’ game as she scored four goals en route to a 5-1 victory. The win improves Crisp County to 7-9 on the season as they have one game left in the regular season, which is a home matchup against Tift County.

As for the boys, it was a more defensive game in the first half as neither team scored until there was less than two minutes left. Crisp County’s Elias Ortega would break the tie, however, as his goal would give the Cougars momentum going into the second half as they would go on to score four more times to come away with the 5-0 victory.

The boys (6-8-2) will also take on Tift County on Friday for their final game of the regular season.
