Percentage Night at Mi Casa to benefit local STEM nonprofit

ALBANY, Ga. – A local restaurant is giving residents a chance to support STEM education in the community simply by dining out.

Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant will host a percentage night on Monday, April 6, benefiting Balancing the Equation, a nonprofit focused on STEM enrichment and academic support for students.

The fundraiser will run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a portion of all sales donated to the organization. According to organizers, all Pepsi product sales during the event will be donated directly to the cause.

The event is part of Balancing the Equation’s ongoing efforts to expand STEM programming for local students, including after-school and enrichment opportunities designed to build academic and career readiness skills.

Dine-in and curbside orders will count toward the fundraiser, while third-party delivery orders will not be included.

Community members are encouraged to visit the restaurant throughout the day to participate, whether stopping in for lunch or dinner, with each meal helping support educational programs in the Albany area.
