Pedestrian killed by bus identified as student

ALBANY, Ga. – A student was struck and killed by an Albany Transit bus this afternoon on the campus of Albany State University’s East Campus.

It happened a little after 2 p.m. near the Student Center located off of Radium Springs Road. The victim has been identified as Adonis Butler, 21.

The Georgia State Patrol, Albany Police Department, and the ASU Police Department are investigating the incident.
