One arrested, more sought in Albany shot house murder

20 year old arrested and charged in fatal shooting and robbery of 55 year old Keith Williams

ALBANY, GA – Albany Police say they’ve arrested the first of three murder suspects from the fatal robbery of an Albany “pour house” late last year.

Wednesday, APD revealed the arrest of 20 year old Bryan Rashun Thomas for the December 1st fatal shooting of Keith Williams at his North Harding residence.

Thomas is charged with felony murder, home invasion and possessing a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Police say three suspects, clad in black clothing, fatally shot Williams as they stole a large amount of alcohol from the scene.

Police sources confirm the deceased had been long known to operate an illegal shot house in the neighborhood.

Detectives say they’re looking for an additional two suspects in the case.
