Newton County Sheriff’s deputies searching for suspect

COVINGTON, GA – According to a Facebook post from Friday morning, Newton County deputies are searching for an African American male suspect in the area of Benedict Place Subdivision, Salem Road, and Mills Drive in Covington.

The suspect is described as having short hair. He is wearing only blue jeans with rips in them.
