Moultrie’s meth & gun arrest

Tia Marie Turner charged with trafficking and possessing a handgun during the commission of a crime.

MOULTRIE, GA- GBI agents say a Colquitt County woman is jailed on weapons and drug counts after a traffic stop earlier this week leads to her arrest.

Agents with the GBI’s Southwestern Regional Drug Enforcement Office and the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office say 31 year old Tia Marie Turner was the subject of a Tuesday traffic stop on Georgia Highway 33.

A search of Turner’s vehicle produced a kilogram of suspected methamphetamine and a 9 millimeter handgun.

The suspect was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
