Moultrie residents share their experience after apparent tornado rips through county

MOULTRIE, Ga. – Multiple reports indicate that a tornado was spotted in Colquitt County today.
After seeking safety in their homes during the possible tornado, residents are now face to face with the after math:
Battered homes, uprooted trees and downed power lines resulting in 400 outages.
City officials report on Facebook that the Moultrie Utility Department is “working in full force to restore power to those who are still in the dark.”
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee predicts showers and thunderstorms throughout the night.
