Mother of December shooting victim asks community for help

(ALBANY, GA) – “Our family is devastated with losing her the way we have. And we just want justice for Taneka,”

This was just part of Nikki Morris’ plea to the community, her first since alker was shot to death at the Wendy’s on East Oglethorpe Boulevard on December 23rd.

For Morris, the rest of her family, and all who knew Taneka, they want justice.

“…Please come forward, there is a reward being offered for any information about the people who took her from us. And we just want justice for because she didn’t deserve this,” said Morris.

However, Morris had one last thing to say to taneka’s murderer…

She said, “…You have devastated my family. And we have not had a restful night since this happened. And I want you to understand what you’ve done and come forward…”

It’s with this plea that law enforcement hopes to find the responsible party and give Walker’s family the closure that they so deserve.

Any information that could lead to the capture of those who killed Walker can call the Albany Police Department at (229) 431-2100.
