Missing Dougherty County woman last seen driving green SUV

ALBANY, Ga. — The Dougherty County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing local woman.

Retha M. Freeman, 76, was last seen earlier today in Albany. Family members say Freeman has early-onset dementia and other health conditions that could cause confusion, raising concerns for her safety.

She was driving a green 2019 Dodge Journey with Georgia license plate CMM 4317. Freeman reportedly left her residence to travel to an Albany address but never arrived at her destination. Her vehicle was last spotted in the Montezuma area.

Authorities are urging anyone who sees Freeman or her vehicle to contact the Dougherty County Police Department at 229-430-6600 or her family at 229-364-8010 or 229-343-4467.

Police say her medical condition makes it especially important for the public to help bring her home safely.
