McDonald’s says ‘thank you’ with free meals for healthcare workers and first responders

SOUTHWEST GEORGIA – In appreciation for the healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics that are on the frontlines of this fight against COVID-19, McDonald’s is offering “Thank You meals.”
These free meals are specifically put together for first responders in a happy meal box but instead of a toy, a thank you note will be included.
After showing a work badge, frontline workers have their choice of a breakfast, lunch or dinner meal.
This program goes until May 5.
George Suarez, owner of 10 McDonald’s franchises in Southwest Georgia, says he’s glad that the company is giving back during this pandemic. He says, “They’re putting their life on the line to help people and after a hard days work they can have either a breakfast lunch or a dinner for a hot meal and just be stress free for a second.”
