Man steals cash register from Cordele market

CORDELE, Ga. – Cordele police are searching for a man who broke into a convenience market early Saturday morning and stole a cash register.

The burglary occurred at Marathon, 2302 Highway 300, at around 4 a.m. Saturday, according to a release from the Cordele Police Department.

A man forced his way into the building, stole the cash register and an undisclosed amount of money in the cash register. The suspect is believed to be driving a light colored Nissan passenger car.
