Kidnap Escapee Suspect Caught in Albany

23 year old Tristian Brown was captured Monday morning

ALBANY, GA-  A 23 year old kidnap fugitive has been caught in Albany after days on the run from officers.

Albany Police say Tristian Brown was captured at a South Street residence a little before 10 this morning.

Police credit community help in providing tips on Brown’s whereabouts.

Brown had been on the loose since he walked out of Phoebe hospital Tuesday following a gunfight Sunday night in Worth County.

Brown was initially sought for the February 12th kidnap and gunpoint robbery of a Maryland Drive homeowner.

In addition to the kidnap and robbery counts, Brown faces additional charges from Worth County.

He’s currently being lodged in the Dougherty County Jail.
