Innovate Hub workshop to teach podcasting basics for beginners
ALBANY, Ga. – For anyone who has thought about starting a podcast but isn’t sure where to begin, an upcoming workshop in Albany is offering a step-by-step introduction to the process.
Innovate Hub will host the LaunchPod Workshop on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m. at its Center for Entrepreneurs location at 2303 Dawson Road, Suite 102.
The beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop is designed for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and creators interested in launching their own podcasts. Organizers say participants will learn the essential steps of podcast production, including how to plan content, set up simple audio equipment, record and edit episodes, and distribute their shows on major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Amazon Music.
The session will also cover strategies for defining a podcast’s topic and audience, structuring engaging episodes, and using podcasting as a tool to build a brand and reach new listeners.
Organizers say attendees will leave the workshop with a clear roadmap for launching their own podcast, even if they have little or no prior experience. Seating is limited, and advance registration is required.
