Trump says Navy will escort ships through Strait of Hormuz “if necessary”

President Trump says the U.S. will offer political risk insurance to ships in the Gulf and “if necessary,” begin escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz. BIMCO’s head of maritime security Jakob Larsen says the industry will take whatever help it can get.
