Russia launches its biggest missile and drone attack on Ukraine so far this year

CNN staff in the capital Kyiv reported hearing several strong explosions in the city and authorities in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa reported Russian strikes. The White House says President Trump was “unsurprised” by the attack and planned negotiations between Russia and Ukraine would proceed later this week in Abu Dhabi, with the US in a mediating role.
