‘It’s about time’: Push to change NY rape law after disturbing Cornell allegations

New York state officials are pushing for changes to the state’s rape law after disturbing gang rape allegations at Cornell University. Lawmakers want to close what they call a loophole, which currently makes it harder to prosecute cases where a victim becomes incapacitated through voluntary alcohol or drug use.
