‘It’s a big deal’: Election expert weighs in on the Supreme Court case that could upend midterms

On Monday, the Supreme Court heard arguments in a challenge to a Mississippi law that allows mail-in ballots to be counted up to 5 days after an election. UCLA professor and election law expert Rick Hasen spoke with Laura Coates about the arguments. Hasen says that if the courts rule that ballots must be received by the election board by election day, more than a dozen states will have to change the way they administer elections.
