It was once one of the most common causes of cancer death for women in the U.S., but the American Cancer Society says the cervical cancer death rate has dropped by more than half since the 1970s thanks to prevention methods and screening. And, today, the organization is announcing new updates to screening guidelines for the disease. In today’s Health Minute, Mandy Gaither goes over the changes that every woman should know.
