HEALTH MINUTE: DEVICE MAY HELP DEFUSE TANTRUMS

Nearly one in five U.S. children ages 3-17 has been diagnosed with a mental, behavioral or emotional health condition, according to the CDC. While temper tantrums are normal for young children, those with a disorder may have added struggles when it comes to regulating their behavior. In today’s Health Minute, Mandy Gaither has more on a new study into how a device may be used to detect a tantrum before it happens and even decrease its duration.
