Exclusive: Fired election commissioner speaks out
In an exclusive interview, Laura Coates speaks with Benjamin Hovland, one of the four commissioners of the Election Assistance Commission, who were pushed out by President Trump. Hovland says removing commissioners could possibly erode people’s credibility of the system. He says the commission was created as an independent agency meant to support election officials to prevent election fraud and tampering.
