How many eggs do you see? City of Moultrie posts virtual egg hunt

MOULTRIE, Ga. – The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing city officials, business and organizations to engage their communities in innovative ways.
Since Moultrie residents can’t gather downtown for an Easter egg hunt, the activity’s been taken to the web. Marketing Specialist for the city, Caroline Barber, propped colorful eggs all around town, took pictures of where they were and posted the pictures to the City of Moultrie’s Facebook page so people could try to point out the eggs from the safety of their homes.
Barber says, “We can all do it together but be in our own homes. I’ve tried to make it as bright, fun cheerful as possible so it really makes you smile and forget about your worries for a couple of minutes and you get to go through and see how many eggs you can find and compare it to others. People really seem to be responding well to it, they’re having fun. This is something you can do as an adult, you can get your kids involved, the whole family can do it.”
