100 mile Peanut Pickin' Yard Sale is set for Saturday, spanning from Unadilla to Quitman

CORDELE, GA – The 100 Mile Peanut Pickin’ Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 8am-4 pm.

The route will follow US Highway 41 from Unadilla to Vienna to Cordele.  From Cordele follow Highway 33 through Sylvester, loop through downtown Moultrie and follow 133 through Berlin, and Highway 333 to Quitman. 

The 100 Mile Peanut Pickin’ Yard Sale is a tourism effort to promote the region and is an opportunity to showcase these towns to visitors who may purchase a home or start a business.  Vendors will be featuring everything from antiques, to local Georgia grown/Georgia made items and yard sale items.  

Yard sale sites will range from large multi-organization sites to individual sites along the route. “Official Vendor” signs will identify each official 100 Mile Peanut Pickin’ Yard Sale site. 

Participating vendors will include a variety of fabulous sidewalk sales at downtown businesses as well as traditional yard sale wares from handmade crafts, old and new items, and antiques.  This is an opportunity to shop until you drop, and a great way to find unique gifts or decorative items for the home.

The square in Vienna will be one of the sites in Dooly County. In Crisp, there will be several locations: Lions Club Indoor/Outdoor Yard Sale, Cordele Farmers Market, the VFW on Highway 41 South and Wenona Baptist Church Highway 33 South of Cordele. The next town will be Sylvester, ending in Quitman.

The bargain shopping is the main attraction, but visitors are also able to enjoy exploring charming towns and communities, the scenic countryside, famous historic sites, delicious regional cuisine and welcoming Southern hospitality.
