GBI’s Ammons sworn as NOBLE’s first female president
Longtime Governmental Affairs Deputy Director elected as first woman to position

DECATUR, GA – The GBI’s Public and Governmental Affairs Deputy Director Natalie Ammons is the first female President of the Georgia chapter of NOBLE , short for the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives.
Ammons, who has served the GBI since 1993, is the first woman to be elected to the post since the chapter’s incorporation back in 1985.
Ammons has been a member of the organization since 2006 and was previously honored in 2018 as NOBLE’s National Member of the Year.
“Natalie represents the bureau well in everything she does,” says GBI Director Vic Reynolds. “I support the mission of NOBLE and know she will succeed in this role.”
“We had dreams that one day NOBLE would see a female President,” says retired GBI Deputy Assistant Director Moses Ector. “Natalie will take this organization to new heights and get things done.”
In addition to Noble, Ammons is also a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, Georgia Association of Women in Public Safety, the Peace Officers Association of Georgia, the Rotary Club of South DeKalb and others.
