Free community health event in Albany offers screenings, wellness services, and more April 11

ALBANY, Ga. — A local church is opening its doors this weekend for a day centered on health, wellness, and community support.

The Women of Wellness & Project Elevation Community Health Event will take place Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3512 Moultrie Road in Albany.

The free event will offer a wide range of services aimed at supporting both physical and mental well-being. Attendees can take advantage of health screenings, haircuts, chair yoga sessions, mini spa treatments, and fresh vegetables, along with educational resources focused on topics like gut health and overall wellness.

Organizers say the event is designed to connect the community with valuable services and information in a welcoming environment. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive a $40 gift card while supplies last.

The event is open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend.
