Flipped truck snarls I-75 northbound traffic in Cordele
Troopers say truck and trailer teetered on top of retention wall without going over

CORDELE, GA – Cordele Police and the Georgia State Patrol have northbound interstate traffic down to a single lane at mile marker 101 where a commercial truck and a passenger truck had a near collision at the approaching ramp up to the highway.
The accident happened a little after 3:30 in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75.
Responding GSP Troopers say it appears the 18 wheeler was coming onto the roadway and into the path of a Ford F-150 carrying a trailer behind it.
The driver swerved in an attempt to not hit the 18 wheeler but apparently lost control of his truck and the accompanying trailer.
The GSP Trooper showed South Georgia Television News where the truck and trailer skidded atop the cement retention wall before coming to rest in the shoulder of the interstate.
No one was injured.
The Georgia State Patrol continues it’s investigation as a wrecker came to the scene to upright the vehicles before towing and clearing the accident site.
