Flint River Entertainment Complex to host Downtown Street Festival March 7 in Albany

ALBANY, Ga. – A popular family-friendly event is making its return to downtown Albany this weekend.

The 2026 Downtown Street Festival will take place Saturday, March 7, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Veterans Park Amphitheatre. Hosted by the Flint River Entertainment Complex, the annual festival is expected to draw hundreds of attendees from Albany and across Southwest Georgia.

Festivalgoers can enjoy a full afternoon of live entertainment on the main stage, featuring DJ Planet X, Evan Barber and the Dead Gamblers, Larry Mallory and The Boys, Ninety5, and Unbreakable Bloodline. In addition to live music, the event will showcase local artisans, craft vendors, food trucks, and interactive attractions.

Organizers say the festival is open to the public and welcomes visitors from across the region, including participants in the Albany, GA Combos® Marathon & Half Marathon.

Parking will be available in the Albany Civic Center parking lots. Tickets can be purchased at the Georgia’s Own Credit Union Box Office, located at the Albany Civic Center, or online through Ticketmaster.
