ALBANY, Ga. – Thursday, Biden for President Georgia announced the launch of the Georgia Faith Leaders for Biden Leadership Council, which they say will “mobilize the faith-based community to help elect Joe Biden, bring moral clarity back to the White House, and restore the soul of our nation.”

James Williams, Chairperson of the Dougherty County Democratic Committee, says the council’s leadership is working hard to encourage people to register to vote in the upcoming November 3 election.

“We are trying to make a stand for togetherness, unity, for the citizens of Dougherty County and the citizens of this state of Georgia,” says Williams, “This is important. This is a life or death situation right now that we must vote, there’s no excuses, no exceptions we have to vote.”
