Entries open for 26th Annual Southwest Georgia Regional Fine Art Exhibition & Sale

ALBANY, Ga. – Local artists are invited to showcase their work in one of the region’s largest juried art events.

The Albany Area Arts Council is now accepting entries for the 26th Annual Southwest Georgia Regional Fine Art Exhibition and Sale, a juried show highlighting creative talent from across the area.

The exhibition is open to artists ages 18 and older and will feature both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and digital art.

Artists may submit up to two original pieces for a non-refundable $35 entry fee. Organizers say cash prizes will be awarded, including Best in Show, as well as first-, second-, and third-place honors in each category, along with honorable mentions.

To be eligible, artwork must be original, created within the last three years, and not previously entered in the competition. All submissions must be completed online and include digital images of the artwork.

The deadline to enter is midnight on May 4.

Organizers say the annual exhibition provides a platform for artists to gain recognition while connecting the community with regional art.
