Douglas-Coffee County announces Downtown First Friday celebration

DOUGLAS, Ga. – The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce has announced an evening of Christmas activities scheduled for this Friday, December 4.

There will be a Christmas tree lighting, 125th Birthday celebration and giveaways in the downtown business district.

The event is aimed at encouraging the public to shop at locally owned businesses. To that end, every receipt from participating shops on Friday gets an entry for a gift basket.
